I'm not done filling requests, but I figured I'd put together a cohesive post of what I've written so far on the subject of rain.

so I was exploring fandom and I discovered a six-word drabble meme.

Then I appropriated the idea and cheated a bit (a lot). And also pretended capital letters didn't exist. They didn't seem right.

Smoke and I, having had so much fun with the October Tales of Terror, agreed to write an Advent series as well. (I even got some prompts out of her.)

So here's the first. It's not the one I wanted to go first, but it's the one that got written in time.

I wrote the first part of this a while back as a journal entry in English (the prompt had to do with magical realism, like in the Sherman Alexie story we had just read) and finished it recently for the class anthology. I'm actually pretty pleased with it, which is odd - as I wrote it from my own point of view.
